MY APRIL FAVOURITES

As my wedding is coming up (july), as is the summer, now is the time to get the beauty regime underway and discover exciting new products. Here is what I loved this month. Fat hair hairspray, benefit gimme brow, yash lipstick mac, ginzing moisturiser origins, liz earle cleanser, nars laguna bronzer, sleek contour kit, collection colour pro lipgloss. ENJOY!

  1. Ok first up, the YASH MATTE MAC lipstick. It is a nude matte shade and I absolutely love it. It looks so elegant, natural and warm. I was on the hunt for it ever since Kylie Jenner uploaded those gorgeous photos of her makeup from Coachella.

Here is it on me, with no lip liner, no gloss, just on its own. Love love love it, and make sure you stay tuned as I will do a step by step on her look soon.

2. Next up is this drugstore beauty from collection. This lipgloss is 'colour pro' in the shade 'prom queen'. It is less than £4 and so so pretty. It is very pigmented, so I wear it mid week to work on its own. Below is a swatch if it on the hand. So beautiful isn't it!

3. Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser. I got a little sample of this a while back at a beauty event and loved it, but forgot to purchase it. Then I was reading a bridal magazine and this got a top beauty prep award. Bought it, re-bought it and now can't live without it! It lasts for ages, you get the hot cloths with it, and it really isn't very expensive. Mid range i'd say. The best makeup remover cleanser! I rub this on dry, until my face looks like a panda eyed mess. Then I go over it again to remove any remnants. Perfect!

4. Benefit 'gimme brow' in the light shade. This certainly isn't drugstore price, and seems a little much for a tiny tube, but my is it worth it. I've never really done much to my brows, i'm not a fan of the over done look, and like them to look really natural. This is the perfect product for that and I use it everyday now. It's basically a mini mascara for your eyebrows, and you apply it by just brushing through until it looks as thick as desired. Here is a little before and after I found off their website.

 5. I will keep this short and simple. Nars laguna bronzer. The perfect contour powder. Worth the hype!
 6. Another drugstore every day item: sleek's contour palette. For £6 I can't really fault it to be honest! I wear the highlighter side every day, on the cheek bones and down the nose. I even prefer this to more expensive ones i've had in the past! I cannot recommend this enough for those who want a cheaper cheek fix. The darker side I don't use as much as I love my laguna/hoola, but the highlighter is just...purchase this!

7. Another beauty product for the lead up to the wedding. Ginzing moisturiser from origins. This stuff smells and feels amazing on the skin. I use it every night after I have cleansed and toned and it certainly does brighten the face. I would say it would be more beneficial to use in the morning, but working in a school, I don't always have time at half 7 in the morning!

8. Finally, a cheap drugstore wonderful hair product. I've been searching for a new hairspray for a while, and saw this for half price in superdrug the other week. At £2 something, I am very glad to have bought it! I've only used it a few times, but I loved it so much (the price helped), I needed to add it to my favourites. It volumises, lifts and gives your hair that amazing feel you need for a night out. Will definitely be repurchasing!

So there you  have it, 8 April favourites. I highly recommend them all.
